This week: Time-saving tools for content creators in 2025.

We all know creating high-quality content takes time. But what if you could slash that time without compromising quality? This week, I’ve gathered tools to help you do more in less time, making content creation faster and smoother than ever.

From AI writing assistants that practically write for you, to video editing tools that cut down your workload – these tools will help you save time and energy.

Plus: A secret Google SEO tool you need to know, a creator tip that’s too good to miss, and Meta’s confusing purge of Facebook groups (yes, it’s as weird as it sounds).

Let’s get started.

Invideo

Building video content usually means juggling editing software, stock footage, and endless tweaks. I remember it taking me a whole week to produce a single video. But Invideo flips that on its head. It’s an AI-powered video creation platform that lets you craft professional videos in minutes – with minimal effort.

Invideo offers powerful AI features like text-to-video, automatic voiceovers, and AI-powered editing tools – plus, a massive stock library. It even lets you clone yourself (!) by uploading a video. Technically, you could make an entire video without recording a thing. That’s AI at its most creative.

Use cases are endless: create social media videos, promotional content, or even educational tutorials with ease. In my experience, however, the creation of a video can take some time, like over 20 or 30 minutes.

Writesonic

Tired of content slowing you down? Writesonic offers tools to streamline your SEO efforts. You'll get SEO articles from its AI Article Writer, and a whole lot more.

Its AI Article Writer is pretty neat – you can feed it past articles (even just URLs), to match your style and voice. Then decide between various types or articles (product reviews, round ups, etc), and several other parameters (length, tone, images, etc). On top of that, it works in tons of other languages, not just English.

Beyond text, Writesonic handles market research, competitor analysis, and content optimization. It can even help shape your content strategy, and create content for LinkedIn.

To be transparent, Writesonic can be fairly pricey. This is often the case with comprehensive AI tools, given the computing costs involved. So it will only appeal for projects with a budget where SEO impact and consistent content output are critical.

Simplified

Managing content creation shouldn’t feel like juggling a dozen apps. With Simplified, it doesn’t have to. This all-in-one platform combines AI-powered writing, graphic design, video editing, and social media management into a single seamless experience.

It even includes an AI assistant that helps you write faster and smarter, plus project management tools to make collaboration easy. That said, with so many features, it can take a bit of time to get fully comfortable with it – it's a little more complex than some other tools out there.

I like that Simplified won’t break the bank. Starting at just $16/month, it’s an affordable option for many looking to streamline their content workflow. Plus, there’s a free plan with limited features, so you can test it out before committing.

✨ Totally Off-Topic… But Brilliant

The technical side of SEO can be a mess – optimizing JavaScript files, compressing images, and constantly asking developers to follow best practices. Personally, I’ve spent years trying to get it right. But the first step in fixing any issue is figuring out what’s wrong.

That’s where Lighthouse comes in. It’s a free extension for your browser that audits web pages for performance, SEO, accessibility, and more. Developed by Google, Lighthouse provides detailed insights into how your site is performing and where improvements can be made.

How to Use It:

  1. Install the Lighthouse Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Go to the page you want to audit.
  3. Click the Lighthouse icon in your browser toolbar.
  4. Hit “Generate Report” and let Lighthouse run the tests.

Lighthouse gives you a breakdown of your site’s strengths and weaknesses. It even provides actionable suggestions on how to improve, whether it’s optimizing your images, improving accessibility, or fixing SEO issues. Reports can be a bit technical, but really useful.

⚡This Week’s Productivity Hack

One of the most common complaints from Lighthouse (Google’s performance tool) is that images are either too large or not compressed enough. This can slow down your site and hurt your SEO, but fixing it is easier than you think.

Also, if you are doing any sort of email marketing, following best practices for compressing images will also work ion your favour – your email deliverability will thank you for it.

Here’s how you can quickly fix this:

1- Resize Images to Fit

A lot of the time, images are displayed at a larger size than needed. You can easily fix this by using a tool like TinyPNG or ShortPixel to resize and compress images automatically. Simply upload the image, and it will adjust the size and compress it, making it much lighter and faster to load.

2- Automate Image Optimization

If you’re using WordPress or another CMS, there are plugins (e.g. TinyPNG or ShortPixel) that will automatically resize and compress images as you upload them. This saves you from manually doing it every time.

If you prefer to skip the plugins, or you're using a custom CMS, simply head over to TinyPNG.com or ShortPixel.com. Just upload your images, let them work their magic, and download the optimized versions ready to be uploaded.

Doing this can boost your page speed, and keep your website running smoothly. If you’re still uploading oversized, uncompressed images, give these tools a try!

🍿 Plot Twist of the Week

So, I came across something pretty unsettling a few days ago. Meta (yes, Facebook) mass-suspended a bunch of Facebook groups – gone in a flash.

Hundreds (or thousands?) of creators cut off from their audience without a single warning. It's scary to think that in the end they control your community, and you don’t even get a say.

And here’s the thing: this isn’t just Facebook. Other platforms can pull the same stunt whenever they want. If you're relying solely on social media, you’re essentially playing with fire. One policy change, one bad update, and your entire audience could vanish overnight.

Lesson learned: Diversify. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. You could, for instance, start your own email newsletter – head over EmailTooltester.com if you need help with that.

That’s it for this week, thanks for reading! Next time, we’re diving into wellness, with tips and apps to help improve your mental and physical health.

Cheers,

Josep
