Scribe is the most “wow, that was fast” tool in this group. Like Tango, it captures your workflow automatically, but it is better for building a reusable library of instructions for onboarding clients, training staff, or documenting recurring tasks.

It works for browser and desktop processes, lets you edit guides, export to PDF or Word on paid plans, and share guides by link or embed. It’s especially useful when you need to explain the same task to clients, assistants, new hires, or remote teammates.

The main downside is that it can feel a bit heavy and structured if you just want a quick one‑off guide – instead, its focus is on building a more complete documentation and training hub around your workflows.

Arcade

Arcade is not a process documentation tool in the internal-ops sense. But it solves a related business problem: explaining what something does without making people read a long PDF, or sit through another demo call.

You can create interactive product demos, videos, and walkthroughs from your actual product or website. That is useful for agencies showing a workflow, SaaS founders explaining features, consultants onboarding clients, or course creators showing what students get.

Arcade says more than 30k companies use it, and its current pricing includes a free plan with AI demos and credits. The paid Growth plan starts at $42.50 per month (not the cheapest).

⚡This Week’s Productivity Hack

You probably have a few things you mean to check every week, then completely forget. Competitors change prices, leads go cold, industry news piles up, and good content ideas disappear because nobody wrote them down.

That is where a recurring AI scout can help.

The idea is simple: create a recurring task in an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc) and ask it to execute it on a schedule.

You could set one up to:

check competitor pricing every Monday
summarize new industry news each Friday
collect fresh content ideas from recent launches
remind you to review overdue leads
Create a ‘to-do’ from your email inbox (if you connect it).

It is a boring little radar that makes sure useful checks actually happen. The best version is specific: tell it what to watch, which sources matter, what counts as important, and when you want it done.

🍿 Plot Twist of the Week

Sometimes the weak point isn’t your own software. It’s a script loaded from someone else’s.

Popular betting platform Polymarket said hackers compromised a third-party vendor, and used that access to inject malicious code into its website for some users. TechCrunch reported that user funds were stolen, although Polymarket didn’t disclose how many people were affected or how much was taken. The company said it contained the incident, removed the affected dependency, and would refund impacted users in full.

Your security is partly rented from every tool you connect. But for small businesses, the lesson isn’t to avoid third-party tools completely. It’s to know what your website / app depends on.

Review your plugins for, payment widgets, analytics tags, chat tools, and external scripts. Remove anything unused, limit permissions where possible, and pay attention when a vendor reports a security issue. If you’re a bit lost here, you can always ask your favourite AI assistant for help – just make sure you give it enough context.
